The TechnoGarden is a digital home-gardening solution facilitated by a Texas Instruments CC3200 development board with onboard Wi-Fi network processor. The enclosed environment is monitored by a set of sensors capturing data related to temperature, light level, soil moisture level and soil pH level. Users are provided this information via a web application accessed over Wi-Fi through a local network. This web application also allows users to control a pump to water enclosed plants, and an UV LED light strip to emulate sunlight. A voltage divider module was designed and printed to scale the output of the sensors to the inputs of the development board. The lux sensor communicates its data and is configured over I2C. The light strip and water pumps are actuated by relays controlled with GPIO pins. Subject: embedded engineering, software engineering
