Tawau Hill Park is located 20 km north of Tawau town. This 280 km2 virgin lowland dipterocarp forest has been advertized as a state park since 1979 and it houses many interesting species such as Phalaenopsis gigantea, Presbytis rubicunda, Tarsius bancanus, Otus lempiji and the rhinoceros hornbill.
