The NCSL Geothermal Policy Project continued with initiation of geothermal studies in new project states and furthering of policy development in existing project states. Initial contact was made with the Alaska legislature to ascertain its interest in conducting a geothermal policy study, and Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, New Mexico and Utah have now requested the NCSL project to begin study efforts for their states
