Caliente geothermal production well CD-3 was pumped for 76 hours to establish thermal aquifer characteristics. The well was completed in June, 1983, to a total depth of 100 feet and cased with 16 inch casing. Well completion included gravel packing the lower 50 feet, a 50-foot cement sanitary seal and pumping 40 hours to develop the well. Flow rates ranged from 1000 to 1500 GPM
