In a systematic replication of a study conducted by Wright (2023), we used multiple exemplar training to teach adolescents with autism spectrum disorder when it is OK and not OK to enter an unfamiliar vehicle. The results indicated that the training was effective for the one participant who completed the training out of the three participants. The one participant also demonstrated generalization of the mastered skill. The findings suggest that multiple exemplar training can be an effective way to teach some non-verbal adolescents with autism spectrum disorder stranger danger skills.
