At long last some of the energy from the great Valles Volcano in the Jemez Mountains of northcentral New Mexico has been put to use. Only an infinitesimal amount of this energy is so far being utilized; but at least a start has been made to harness the tremendous amount of heat still left in the earth from the time when the volcano was active
