The geothermal hot water resource developed from on-campus wells is used for space heating and heating the college's potable hot water supply. The development of this resource has provided waste water for aquaculture. The available water for aquaculture is a volume of 200 to 250 gallons per minute with a mean temperature of 57°C. The water temperature before it is used for heating is about 89°C
