The Governor's Energy Conference, "Hawaii's Energy Options for the 80s," sponsored by the Department of Planning and Economic Development, was held August 15 through 18, 1982, in Honolulu. The purpose of the Conference was to share with the people of Hawaii the latest knowledge in the fields of energy conservation, alternate energy development, and related legal and financial considerations.
