Klamath Falls Municipal Swimming Pool has used geothermal energy for its heating needs the past 22 years. The pool was dedicated in June of 1954. It is a beautiful wedge shape pool, 40' x 80' X 100', with a swimmer capacity of 550, holding 275,000 gallons supplied from the city's wells . The pool has been the site of numerous swimming contests, since it has six racing lanes and has been enjoyed by residents both young and old. It is normally opened when school closes for the summer until classes begin in the fall
