This project serves to answer the following question, can a decommissioned prestressed concrete bridge girder be installed on the Oregon Tech campus and used as a tool for future coursework? The girder of interest for this project is a 42-foot long, 45-inch deep AASHTO Type III prestressed concrete girder from the existing U.S. 97 Pelican City Bridge over Lakeport Drive in Klamath Falls, Oregon. This bridge is scheduled to be replaced in Summer 2023, in which this project proposes the possible relocation of a single girder from the bridge to the Oregon Tech campus. This report details all background and steps leading up to the design of the support for the installation of such a girder, which includes a literature review, project overview, design concept, detailed design, and cost estimate. The main outcome of this project was a structural design calculation package for the vertical and lateral supports and detailed structural drawings. These calculations and plan sets can be used in the future if the construction of the provided design is pursued in the future
