The new “Geothermal Map of California,” drawn at a scale of 1:1,500,000, is the most comprehensive geothermal map ever made of the state. Digitally produced with a PCbased geographic information system, the map was created by the Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources, and the California Geological Survey, under the California Department of Conservation
