The damage from the recent earthquake in Mexico, which attracted much notice as a ground disaster, was concentrated in Mexico City which is located 400 kilometers from the epicenter. As it was also a typically urban disaster that struck an overly-populated city, we in Japan were also taught several valuable lessons
