This report is an analysis of the bridge designed and produced for the 2019-2021 American Institute of Steel Construction Student Steel Bridge Competition. The competition requires students to design a scale model steel bridge to support various placements of the 2,500-pound load, fabricate the structure, perform a timed construction of the bridge, and lastly perform vertical and lateral load testing to determine deflections. Information on the design procedure, structural analysis, experimental connection testing, and construction sequencing are included. The contents of this report will be of immediate interest to student steel bridge teams, undergraduate structural stability researchers, steel connection researchers, and others interested in the development of small-scale steel structures.
