Applied behavior analysis can be used to improve employee performance at workplace settings. The Performance Diagnostic Checklist–Human Services (PDC-HS) is a tool that was developed to help supervisors determine performance problems and identify effective interventions. The purpose of this study was to use the PDC-HS in a novel way by having both employees and supervisors complete the PDC-HS to identify effective interventions to address workplace cleanliness. Average agreement on the tool across supervisors and employees was 71%. Chore completion averaged 62 percent during baseline, 89 percent during the employee interventions, and 77 percent during the supervisor interventions. These results suggest that both employees and supervisors were able to identify effective interventions to increase chore completion.
