The purpose of my senior project is to provide a solution to a relatively common problem that patients and health care providers face using the skills and knowledge I’ve gained from my education at OIT. The problem my project will address is the issue of patients not knowing, or having on hand, information about the medications they’re taking. Having this information available at any time allows for providers to be better informed of treatment plans and gives patients easy access and control over their medication information.
To solve this problem, I will be designing and developing a mobile application for the Windows Phone 7 that will serve as a personal medication tracker for patients. Users will be able to add/delete and update their medication information, which will be stored in a SQL Azure database stored in the Windows Azure Cloud.
