The Goose Defense System is a variable-autonomy turret designed to deter birds in sensitive areas like airports, agriculture, and industry. It integrates autonomous tracking, visual feedback, and manual control via Pixymon V2 software over USB. The turret is divided into upper and lower sections connected by a slip ring for 360° rotation. The upper section includes a laser, Arduino, and elevation servo, while the lower section houses power supplies and lateral motors. The system features an Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) module that evaluates targets before engaging, using a Pixy2 camera. It supports both manual joystick control and automatic tracking modes.
