Poster illustrating the development of a multiplayer online game that uses a newer/alternative form of netcode known as "rollback." The game consists of multiplayer 3rd person tank combat with 3D rigid-body physics. The game utilizes the Unity game engine as well as the Photon Quantum deterministic multiplayer engine to allow for a seamless connection experience with built in matchmaking. The project is a testament to the ever-changing landscape of game development as developing in rollback was, for a long time, considered inefficient and not achievable for most teams. Developed by Portland-Metro CSET Junior Project Team C: Aaron Hill, Derek Preston, and Tyler Tenny.
