Quantum computing integration with embedded systems remains inaccessible to students and researchers due to high hardware costs, complex custom PCB requirements, and steep learning curves. Traditional approaches require expensive quantum random number generators, custom board fabrication, and specialized expertise that most educational institutions cannot provide. QuantumLeap-Embedded addresses this gap by creating an accessible hardware platform using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components. The system combines a RISC-V development board with entropy generation capabilities and LED visualization, providing a foundation for quantum-classical hybrid computing concepts and offering further expansion opportunities with a plethora of interfaces that the system can seamlessly connect together.
