ESRA, or Electromyographic Sensing Robotic Arm, is a muscle sensing 3-d printed forearm. Using myoelectric sensors, the device sensing current running through the users forearm during a clenching or relaxing of the muscles. This current is translated into a readable data and transmitted to servos, which control the tendons attached to an articulating 3-d printed hand. The design for the project is modular, to allow for continued development, and increased complexity.
