The photograph shows a Tuneup Lab with the Dynamometer, and 1925 Model T Ford car with Leslie Johnson at the wheel. Dynamometer was a tool to measure horsepower delivered to the rear wheels of cars. The vehicle’s rear tires were placed on rollers that measured horsepower. Les Johnson brought in his 1925 Model T Ford to see how much horsepower would be delivered to the back wheels. It didn’t even move the needle, so he and his students moved the needle to show some horsepower. The photo was donated by Leslie Ralph Johnson.
