I have developed a Proof-of-Concept android phone application for developing and scanning a special format of QR codes, with embedded security information. The idea being that in the real world, users are vulnerable to attackers placing a fraudulent QR code over a normal one, and may be tricked into using a cloned website, etc. This project aims at preventing that.
