Our Senior Project was to design and build an automated system to open, close and latch a door for a Van's Aircraft RV-10. The project is specifically for Jessica Cox, a licensed pilot who was born with no arms and is building a RV-10. This opportunity came from the President of Van's Aircraft, Rian Johnson.
