Placing 8, 6, and 4-inch perforated plastic pipe with drain guard approximately 6 ft. deep, 3 ft. inside our right of way between Sta. 210 and 267, on western side of Straits Drain. This is adjacent to Clyde Horsley's Property and is in lieu of an open toe drain. The 8-inch plastic pipe sections (20 ft. sections) are coupled together and strung out along line, then the sock (drain guard) is put on in the field. The 6-inch plastic pipe comes in 100 ft. sections and 4-inch plastic pipe comes in 250 ft., with the sock (drain guard) already installed; May 1976; USBR photo by D. W. Stein
